Relay and lock
Three working modes, pulse length and opening from the panel.
On a valid tap the device can release a lock. Pick the mode that matches what is fitted in the door.
- Off
- The output is unused. The device only records working time.
- Pulse
- The usual setting. The output is open at rest and closes for the length of the pulse after a tap. Suits an ordinary electric strike.
- Inverted
- The output is closed at rest and the pulse opens it. That is how fail-safe magnets work, holding the door with current.
Pulse length is adjustable from 0.1 to 10 seconds, 3 seconds out of the box. A second tap during a pulse extends the window rather than cutting it short, so two people walking in one after another do not shut the door on each other.
A separate setting releases the lock ON ENTRY ONLY. Exits are then merely recorded — useful when the door opens from the inside with a handle or a button.
The panel also has an open button on the administrator account. It behaves like a card tap but records nothing.
